A Center for Russian business will be opened in India

In Delhi, construction is underway of an office center for Sber’s ecosystem. It will serve as a flagship venue, bringing together digital solutions, new technologies, and the best IT services.

The launch of the Center was announced by Anatoly Popov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank. Sber’s presence in India dates back more than 15 years – bank offices operate in New Delhi and Mumbai, and an IT hub of the corporate group is based in Bangalore. SberIndia provides a full range of financial services to corporate customers and develops infrastructure to support cooperation between Russian and Indian companies.

Relations between Russia and India are rapidly developing, including in industrial cooperation, financial interaction, logistics and technology. In this regard, Russian companies understand the need for a physical presence for their representative offices in India.

“The Center for Russian business is a key location of the Russian business community in India. Its residents will include both companies already operating in India and those that are only preparing to enter this market,” Popov noted.

The business center is being built in one of Delhi’s most infrastructure- and logistics-friendly business clusters – one of the key players in the country’s commercial real estate market.

Residents of the Center will receive a suite of financial tools to operate in India, along with business support services – legal, tax, and audit maintenance, as well as credit products.
