The first INNOPROM in India will take place in September 2026

The International Industrial Trade Fair “INNOPROM. India” will be held for the first time in New Delhi from September 9 to 11, 2026, at the Bharat Mandapam exhibition complex. The event will take place ahead of the 18th BRICS Summit. The launch of INNOPROM in India reflects the consistent strategy of expanding the exhibition’s geographical reach and strengthening international industrial and trade cooperation. The organizers are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India. The event operator is Formika Event.

India previously participated as the partner country of INNOPROM in 2016 (Ekaterinburg), presenting a national exposition covering 3,700 square meters and featuring 115 exhibitors. In subsequent years, Indian representatives continued to actively participate in both the exhibition and its business program, as well as in other related formats. For example, INNOPROM 2025 hosted the roundtable discussion “Russia–India: Towards USD 100 Billion in Bilateral Trade.”

The selection of India as a new direction for INNOPROM is driven by the strategic importance of bilateral cooperation. India’s nominal GDP exceeds USD 4 trillion, while its population of approximately 1.5 billion people makes it one of the world’s largest markets for industrial products, technologies, and investment projects. India is also one of Russia’s key trading partners: over the past five years, bilateral trade has increased nearly sevenfold, and by the end of 2025, trade turnover exceeded USD 60 billion. The exhibition is aimed at further strengthening cooperation, stimulating joint projects, and expanding industrial and trade ties.

The exhibition is expected to occupy approximately 10,000 square meters. The exposition will showcase products and technologies from sectors including mechanical engineering, mining, metallurgy, chemicals, IT, pharmaceuticals, medical technologies, and others. The business program will focus on key issues of bilateral industrial and trade cooperation between Russia and India. A series of business meetings is planned, including a matchmaking exchange involving both buyers and suppliers from the two countries.
